Here were my notes: winstart key r msconfig enter tab 11 times right arrow 3 times tab 7 times space tab space alt + a enter enter haha it worked. Couldn't get into safe mode without pressing esc to cancel it loading..Adware picked it up and removed it. any idea's? XP system crashing during boot - rebooting too fast to check blue screen error message. I'll love you forever!!! Yes renaming the driver should work as well but i would disable it, you can also use a boot cd or second system.

Are you able to boot into safe mode at all? (Press F8 at boot time - I don't recall which option lets you see which drivers get loaded - I think Hides part of the registry. I'm guessing my best bet is to dig out my xp CD and boot into the recovery console so that I can axe it. Althought it cannot find any harddrives, I can still boot normally (safe mode still freezes), however I can't see anything on my screen. I've looked everywhere, but daemon only tells me how to get my comp to boot again. thx! I DON'T want to have to reformat.
